Born and raised in Adelaide, Leigh Qurban commenced his stand up comedy career in 2011 and quickly rose through the ranks featuring and hosting with his observational, relatable and, at times quirky, material. In 2015 he was awarded the Adelaide Comedy “Peer’s Choice” Award and in the following year took out Adelaide Comedian of the year. Frequently touring around the country, Leigh has taken sold shows to the Perth, Adelaide Fringe and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival whilst being awarded the 2018 Kings of Comedy Comedian of the Year Award and in the same year being crowned a winner in the One Cover “One Thing Comedy Competition”. 2019 saw him continue to tour the festival circuit and perform to 2000 people at the Adelaide International Comedy Gala whilst in 2020 Leigh sold out multiple runs of his Adelaide Fringe festival show “Crate Expectations” to rave reviews.
