Melbourne based comedian, John Dore, has received critical and public acclaim for his honest, approachable and jaw-achingly funny work over the past ten years. Earning plaudits for his two recent Melbourne International Comedy Festival shows from some of the finest comedy critics – including Steve Bennett of Chortle – John is touted as a star on the rise. Critics have described him as “lean, efficient and constantly hitting the mark” with “honesty and hilarious charm”. John is also a RAW Comedy and Green Faces finalist, has headlined in the Perth and Melbourne Fringe Festivals, was a writer and performer for Channel 31’s ‘Live On Bowen’, and awarded 2017 Kings of Comedy ‘Comedian of the Year’.
